During Kids Church on Sunday, August 23rd, kids going into Grade 1 in September will have a Grade School Orientation. This is a time to get to know the other grade school kids, meet some of our grade school leaders, and experience a bit of what it’s like downstairs in grade school! We hope this Orientation Day reduces any anxiety the kids may feel as they make the big move up from Pre-K to grade school!
Kids entering grade 1 in September, and their parents, can meet Patrisha in the entrance (by the front doors and the office) and she will bring the kids downstairs to the mini gym. Parents are welcome to come down too if they would like! Kids will remain downstairs, so parents will pick-up there after the service. Kids will be back in Pre-K the following week (Aug 30) and will officially be in grade school on Kick-Off Sunday, September 13th!
