Baptism & Membership
Baptism is a step of obedience for every believer in Jesus and we would love to help you take that step! Jesus sets the example for us in baptism (Matt 3:13-17) and the call of the gospel is to repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38). It is a public demonstration of the internal transformation of the gospel (Rom 6:3-4).
Membership in the church is the commitment to follow Jesus alongside others, intentionally support and encourage one another. As opposed to a passing association, church membership is a clear commitment to hold one another accountable to follow Jesus and a desire to be held accountable as well. Church membership is for the good of the church and yourself!
Baptism & Membership Classes
If you would like to find out more about Baptism or Membership, join in our classes and learn more about them. Whether you are ready to take the next step or just looking for more information, these classes are a great way to get to know our church and find out more information.
There are three classes that will go over What We Believe, Who We Are, and Baptism & Sharing your Story. All three classes will help you understand what it means to be a member of Promontory Community Church, what we believe about baptism, and how to share your testimony with others.

Everyone is welcome to join any class, however if you are looking to be baptized or become a member we ask that you attend all three.
