Youth Ministry

Come join the Youth at Promontory! We meet every other Sunday during the service and monthly for fun events! Check the Calendar for more details!

Why Youth Ministry?

Every other Sunday all junior and senior high gather during the worship service for a time of teaching and discussion centred on the gospel. These gatherings are designed to help students grow in their understanding of Scripture, deepen their faith in small groups, and consider what it means to follow Jesus in their daily lives.

In addition, we host monthly events that provide opportunities for fellowship, fun, and building meaningful relationships. These times together create space for students to enjoy community while being encouraged in their walk with Christ. Check out the Youth Calendar for more details on upcoming events!

Mission: Promontory Youth exists to make disciples of Jesus who know, live, and share the gospel for the glory of God.

Vision: Our vision at Promontory youth is for these students is that as a youth group is we would see every student come to an understanding and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire for each student to be a light in this broken world where they love Jesus and love those around them. We dedicate ourselves to helping guide these students to learn and grow in their knowledge and relationship with God. We desire for our students to live by faith and to serve God and others with their whole lives.

We do this by:

  • Pursuing the lost with intentionality, and sharing the hope of Christ with those who have yet to know him.
  • Cultivating a welcoming space where every student—no matter their background, age, or ethnicity—feels valued, accepted, encouraged, and loved.
  • Consistently sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with clarity and cultural relevance, ensuring the message remains faithful and unwatered in both small and large group settings.
  • Guiding students to grow deeper in their walk with Christ by fostering a passion for God’s Word, prayer, worship, evangelism, fellowship, and acts of service.
  • Creating opportunities for students and leaders to demonstrate their love for God and others through service projects where students serve their local community.
  • Equipping students with caring leaders who model authentic Christian living and speak biblical truth into their lives.
  • Faithfully lifting students up in prayer each day.
